Born from facade practice

WDFG Façade Engineering Consultancy was founded in Abu Dhabi to provide focused, high-calibre facade engineering support to developers, architects, main contractors and facade contractors across the UAE and GCC.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, WDFG was created to offer a dedicated, specialist facade design office for the region. The practice is built around senior facade engineering experience in aluminium and glass envelopes, combining deep technical knowledge with advanced digital delivery.

From the outset, WDFG has positioned itself as a partner to developers, architects, consultants, main contractors and facade contractors rather than a traditional design consultant alone. Our role is to translate architectural ambition into engineered facade solutions that are buildable, compliant and commercially sound, while respecting programme constraints and site realities.

WDFG supports projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, aviation, healthcare, education and cultural sectors throughout the UAE and the wider GCC. The practice continues to grow as a trusted facade engineering brand headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with a clear focus on technical excellence, responsiveness and long-term client relationships.

As Managing Director of WDFG, Mr. Morad Shadeed brings over 22 years of experience in facade engineering, spanning technical management, project management, estimation and business development across the region. In previous and current roles he has contributed facade expertise to high-end towers, airports, hospitals, universities and cultural buildings.

His background with international aluminium fabricators and system suppliers means he understands both design-studio expectations and fabrication realities, enabling WDFG to propose solutions that work on paper, in the factory and on site.

Experience across curtain wall, unitised, skylight and bespoke facade systems.
Specialised knowledge of fire-rated glazing packages and Civil Defence coordination.
Hands-on involvement in estimation, production, installation and technical sales.
